Introducing the first print featuring a highly reflective silver paint, which shimmers and interacts with the light around it. From bright daylight, to soft evening light, this prints' luminous reflective silver shifts with the light of each hour. 

The silver background on these prints are completely hand-painted, resulting in a beautiful effect that blurs the line between art print and original artwork. Because of the heavily hand-worked nature of this print, no two are alike. There will be smudges or small imperfections throughout, including small marks or brushwork into the white borders. Note: The gold cloak is ungilded.

Printed on the same high-quality watercolor paper I use for my originals, this print beautifully blurs the line between art print and original artwork.

About Giclee prints:
Giclee is a term for prints being made using archival pigment ink and the highest quality paper. This is in contrast to standard prints utilizing dye-based ink. Dye-based ink prints, while cheap to produce and widely available, will begin to visibly fade within a couple years, and may have marked fading within 20.
Giclee, in contrast, is theorized to last upwards of 200 years (though as of now, the exact amount of time is unknown, due to obvious difficulty with testing such protracted timelines). With proper care and UV protection, giclee prints will keep their rich colors and contrast for an exceptionally long time.

At Alessandra Maria Studio, our team exclusively makes giclee prints, going a step beyond even the standard giclee and utilizing only 100% cotton paper, as well. We want our prints to be an investment for you that can be handed down through generations.
